Course Description
Don't let COPD take over your life. Learn to take charge, breathe better, live better.
Carol was diagnosed with COPD in 2006. Her book has been downloaded over 100 thousand times.
Whilst there is a lot of information on COPD on the internet, it can be hard to find and even harder to judge its usefulness. Carol has spent many, many hours pulling together the best information and forming it into an easily digestible, easily actionable format.
When Carol was first diagnosed it was a shock - her lung function was only 37% of normal. She retired from the university position she loved and it seemed her world had come to an end. But over time she has fought back. She attended pulmonary rehabilitation (several times) and pledged to find out as much as possible about COPD to live life despite the disease.
Fifteen years on from her initial diagnosis, Carol is still enjoying life. She accepts that life is different from the one she and her partner envisaged and uses the techniques and knowledge she gained to make sure she stays as well as possible.
The course includes:
- breathing techniques to get you breathing better
